i know. my blog and my life has been centered around that commission for the last year. and it is finished. whew! so i am back to my studio...so so very hard after working and working and WORKING on something for oh so long. those little demons appear on my worktable and taunt me...."what??? you think YOU can draw?? forget it. your creative imaginative well has run dry my old friend..." ugh! hate that guy. but it appears every so often....it even jumps on my shoulder at times and runs about with me during the day...anyone know him? or her?
well....i kinda squashed him last night under my canvas when i drew these. take THAT you nasty beast. until next time at least....

not sure where this is going...but thank goodness she has her coffee.
sorry for the bad pix. the light in my studio was so bright. this one is at its earliest stage...i usually never ever share those, but it will be a quick painting i think. a little itty bitty commission... like those right now!
ok. one of my dearest buyers (from poland who will remain discreet..hee hee) told me i have been so quiet with my blog entries...and she is so on the target. i am. thank you my dear friend ms. butterfly woman.
i guess when something life altering occurs you can either talk talk talk or remain silent. i chose the latter.
but now, i'm moving past and feel like sharing. my husband was diagnosed with cancer in the spring. life was crazy, scary, and the foundation on which everything in life was built, was gone. we were shaken to the core... he was amazing. my family amazing. friends are kinda funny...some show their fear and disappear...others appear from nowhere and offer everything. the best news is he is doing so well. he grew a beard which he calls his "cancer beard." and laughs and jokes about it to all who asks. if you ask him, he'll pull up his shirt and show you his bearutiful full length scar...even if you don't...he may show you anyway.
so life moves on...my family is crazy and wild...wild wild WILD...but we are so very lucky.
here's a couple of pix of jeff. he's going to kill me for this...especially the one of him on the stool (acting like he's poetry bohemian guy)..but ah well...this is my blog.
this is more like it:
ok. random unerlining element that i can not get off! and blue?? what the???
weird. so...those pix were taken from the most insane antique place EVER!! but to prevent my A.D.D from taking over i shall move on and save that for another time.
one last jeff pix:
last weekend in vermont. eli and jeff. 3 sides of jeff...and there are many more. i am just so lucky i get to see all of them...sometimes all at once. scary. k. that's all.
until next time!!!
xo
oops forgot! my last 3 panels of commission are now available in my shop!
